Our Artists

Sitting across the table from singer-songwriter Brian Owens, one might get the feeling of conversing with — as some say — an old soul. There is a calmness and self-assuredness that suggests he’s been here before, even though he is only on the verge of becoming the new voice of American soul. He doesn’t project the harried, fast-paced life of a national recording artist, but rather the soulful energy that dominates his music.

Raised in St. Louis, his music reflects a city infused with blues, soul and funk, resulting in a style that is distinctly his own, yet reminiscent of artists like Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and Otis Redding,   who laid the foundation for Grammy Award winning, R&B soul artists like D’Angelo, Maxwell and Raphael Saadiq. Now, joining that class is Brian Owens. “I want to be my own voice, but in a way that’s familiar to people,” Owens says. “So I welcome the comparisons because it means that people take comfort in my influences.

God’s Chosen is made up of Zebrina Anderson,
Sarah Stephens, and Nikiesha Whittier, all from St. Louis, Missouri. They’ve captured the hearts of many and have taken the City of St. Louis by storm with their unforgettable blend of harmony.

It is their sincere desire to touch every heart, inspire the mind and stir the soul of every listener, and to encourage men, women, young and old, to look to God for the joy, peace and “Love Ever After”.

A soul-stirring celestial sound emerges whenever Christian/Gospel vocalist Wayne Starks opens his mouth to sing his joyful praises to the Lord.  From Minneapolis, MN, Starks is blessed with a chilling vocal tone and an incredible octave range.

His first release, “Believe,” in the Fall of 2010 is an inspirational testament to the power of holding on and believing in the Lord.  On the song, Wayne is joined by Allegro Nevella, sister of gospel legend Yolanda Adams, who is making her debut performance.
